Rebecca O'Banion
Rebecca O'Banion is a seasoned professional with years of leadership experience in Christian higher education. She's currently serving as the Vice President of Advancement at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where she is responsible for connecting people with their passion for Christian higher education and raising friends for the institution. Prior to her current role, Rebecca served in various leadership positions at the university, including Vice President for Development, Associate Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations, and Director of Alumni Relations.
Rebecca's educational background is impressive, having completed a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor after obtaining a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human Services and Executive Leadership from Liberty University. She also holds a BA in Social Work from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.
Before joining the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Rebecca served as the Executive Director at Hope for the Hungry and Outreach Counselor at the Central Texas Youth Services Bureau.
Rebecca's passion for Christian higher education is evident in her work, and her leadership skills make her an integral part of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor team.
