Matthew Hoffman is a seasoned entrepreneur with a wealth of experience in building venture-backed technology companies. He has worked with business managers, family offices, and UHNW advisors to form public-private partnerships with leading government agencies and major corporations. He has also built interdisciplinary teams to tackle complex topics such as driverless cars in NYC and space travel. Matthew is currently the Director of Operations at The Architect's Newspaper, the most authoritative voice on architecture and design in the US. Prior to this, he founded Empire Software Inc., a highly secure dashboard for business managers, CPAs, and family offices. He also founded Blank Space, the largest organizer of creative competitions in the world, including the Outer Space competition with astronaut Chris Hadfield. In 2016, Blank Space partnered with the City of New York to plan for the future of driverless technology within the five boroughs, culminating in a successful event with over 800 attendees. Matthew studied Bachelor of Architecture at Penn State University and has experience working as a lecturer, communications director, and collaborator.
