Tuan Ho is a highly skilled research engineer with expertise in computer vision algorithms and prototypes. He has been working with Samsung Research America (SRA) in Plano, Texas, where he is a member of the SRA-Standards and Mobility Innovation Lab. Tuan's areas of expertise include robotics vision, perception, and point cloud compression algorithms for self-driving vehicle maps and 3-D point cloud models.

Tuan has experience in 360-degree video, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR), gained as a research intern at Samsung Research, USA. Before his graduate studies, he worked as a senior hardware engineer at Renesas Design Vietnam, where he designed hardware architectures and led video codec IP projects.

Tuan has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington. He's also served as a graduate teaching assistant at the University.
