A young UK telecom tech start-up with a mobile App for creating and managing conference calls. My role at VENNCOMM spanned many areas and I was responsible for the following;

-  Helping define the product pricing strategy
-  Managing the App product roadmap, defining development requirements, creating wireframes and managing 3rd party developers
-  Defining and managing the integration of the VENNCOMM Conferencing Platform with other solutions (e.g. billing, email marketing)
-  Defining the requirements for the VENNCOMM Platform API
-  The digital elements of the business including an Opensource website build using a customised Wordpress theme
-  Analysing and reporting on App usage and User behaviour (MixPanel)

CommuniGator is a Marketing Automation SaaS platform. My role at CommuniGator started with responsibility for the external marketing of the company. Over time the role evolved to include responsibility for providing strategy to existing customers and to new business opportunities as well as mapping out suitable Marketing Automation solutions.

My work at CommuniGator included;

-  Defining and building a new lead generation program utilising the CommuniGator platform
-  Aligning Sales and Marketing teams on terminology and approach to prospects (MQL vs. SQL etc)
-  Identifying buyer personas and defining a content strategy
-  Technical pre-sales and solutions consultancy
-  Seminar presentations about Email Marketing & Social Media
-  Managing a 600K+ record CRM (Saleslogix)

CommuniGator

Marketing Manager / Head of Strategy & Solutions

Zmags is a SaaS platform specialising in digital catalogues, magazines and publications. This role involved a number of different duties from technical pre-sales in support of the EMEA Sales team to project management of eCommerce integrations for leading retailers such as Tesco, Boots and Selfridges.

eCommerce integration project responsibilities included:

-  Liaising with multiple client stakeholders (IT, eCommerce, Marketing)
-  Exploratory technical conversations and project scoping
-  Technical pre-sales and solutions consultancy
-  Project Management of the eCommerce integrations including managing 3rd party suppliers
-  Scoping and delivering Proof of Concept projects

Zmags is a SaaS platform specialising in digital catalogues, magazines and publications. In this role I was tasked with managing and refreshing the Zmags Customer Knowledge Base and Online Community.

My work in this role included;

-  Defining the requirements and creating wireframes for a new build of the Knowledge Base powered by the <a href="http://Salesforce.com">Salesforce.com</a> platform
-  Managing a 3rd party provider to deliver the new Knowledge Base
-  Enabling Zmags customers to create and manage support tickets through an online portal (powered by <a href="http://Salesforce.com">Salesforce.com</a>)
-  Enabling Zmags customers to directly communicate with their Account Manager through an online portal

Global Community Manager

A short-term contract acting as a Consultant and Web Producer for the Disney Universe videogame.

This role involved defining the tech requirements to build a community "hub" and the development of strategy for growing and managing a community across Social Media channels.

Web Production duties involved managing the creation of 12 territory sites across the EMEA region.

-  Working closely with the product development team and related stakeholders whilst providing feedback from consumers
-  Creating and implementing community plans as part of an overall marketing brief

-  Management of live events
-  Finding and creating a core group of key influencers within the community

Elysium was all about bridging the gap between large corporates and consumers. As a specialist company in the videogame industry it spent time educating major brands about how to interact and engage with passionate and vocal consumers.

In addition it also hosted live events, managed campaigns and provided consultation about the videogame industry.

4K was the UK's No.1 professional gaming team and my role dealt with the operational side of the business whilst managing the team of players that were regularly competing in international competitions.

I oversaw the implementation of a new team website and worked to establish an active community around this website / fansite. This included creating content and updating fans on the player's progress during tournaments. It also consisted of regular surveys in partnership with the team's main sponsor, Intel. Small competitions were also a feature that kept the community involved and gave them an opportunity to get a return for the time invested in being a fan.

Content on the site included news, interviews, feature articles, audio / video content from events and photo galleries.

Other work for 4K included online marketing of the team brand and sponsors via the team community portal and external communities that were associated with the team or that the team participated in. I was also responsible for PR securing regular print coverage complimented by Radio and TV when major stories arose.
