Mikki Phan
Mikki Phan is a seasoned User Experience (UX) and Human Factors Researcher who has worked across software and hardware products in the consumer and enterprise spheres. With over a decade of experience, she has led several qualitative and quantitative research projects in complex areas such as machine learning, neuroplasticity, vision, aging, and video games. Mikki boasts a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Human Factors Psychology from Wichita State University, where she also earned her B.A. in Psychology. Prior to leading the hardware research team at Google Nest, Mikki held various roles as a Senior UX Researcher and User Experience Researcher at Google and its subsidiaries, including Alphabet Inc. and Motorola. She is also a former Instructor in Psychology Research Methods for Wichita State University, where she trained students on the essentials of scientific research. Mikki is a lover of learning, with an affinity for solving complex problems while connecting with people on personal levels.
