Joe Kelley

Joe Kelley is a music industry professional with almost a decade of experience in digital media, artist/industry relations, and booking.

Before his current role leading Billboard's Artist Relations department, Joe oversaw an international online music platform that specialized in live sessions with various artists around the world.

In his role at Billboard, Joe collaborates with various departments to match musicians with content needs while also brainstorming innovative ideas for video and social media.

Joe has successfully launched ongoing series like the Billboard Live series, which he founded in 2016 and turned into a profitable platform.

He serves as the main contact for artists, managing relationships between Billboard and musicians to address their requests and concerns across multiple areas like Editorial, Video, Social, and Events.

Joe has experience as a talent buyer for the Billboard Hot 100 Festival, where he curated line-ups in collaboration with top industry agencies, contributing to the success of the event.

Beyond the Hot 100 Festival, Joe has been involved in events like Billboard's Women in Music, Power 100, Pride Summit, Touring Summit, Latin Music Week, and Industry Nights showcase co-hosted by Soho House.

He actively engages with students interested in the music industry, sharing his experiences through speaking engagements including NYU's 'Music Industry Essentials' program and guest lectures at NYU's Professional Development Seminar, Berklee College of Music, Rhodes College, and GRAMMY camp.
