John Komkov
John Komkov is a seasoned venture capitalist, economist, and founder of Fathom Capital. A double-dip graduate of Stanford University, he started his career as an intern staff assistant to the Office of US Senator John Cornyn and worked as a Mass Tort Data Analyst at Brown McCarroll before heading to Morgan Stanley to be an analyst. John then moved to the White House, where he served as an Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers. He further honed his skills in economics and business by studying MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he co-founded Fathom Capital after working as a Summer Associate at Lightspeed Venture Partners and Austin Ventures, and Digital Investments + M&A at Axel Springer SE. His vast expertise and professional experience enabled him to work as Technology Advisor at TPG Global and Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners.
