Magali Soumillon, a prolific scientist and entrepreneur, has made it her life's mission to help cure diseases using biotechnology. Magali's academic journey began at the Lycee Pierre Forest in Maubeuge, where she earned a Baccalaureat in Scientific studies. She then went on to study Biology at Lycee Faidherbe, Lille in preparation for admission to the Engineering School. She eventually completed her Engineer's degree (MS) in Biotechnology at Ecole Superieure d'Ingenieurs de Luminy, Marseille. Furthermore, Magali obtained her PhD in Life Sciences, Genomics, and Molecular Biology from the University of Lausanne, Center for Integrative Genomics, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Magali's professional journey is equally impressive. She is the co-founder of Flexomics LLC, where she leads a dynamic team of scientists in developing novel ways of diagnosing diseases using genomic sequencing technologies. Magali participated in the founding of Volta Labs, Inc., a biotech start-up, where she served as Founding Member & Advisor and later as the Consultant - Interim Head of Biology. Magali has also held prominent positions in Torpedo Diagnostics and Mass General Hospital, where she helped develop innovative disease diagnostics tests.

Magali is an expert in the field of Genomics, Molecular Biology, and Biotechnology. Her interests include developing innovative diagnostic assays, tissue engineering, regenerative biology, and personalized medicine.
