Pam Axberg is an accomplished senior executive with over 15 years of board of directors experience, and extensive knowledge leading regulated, service organizations in healthcare, telecommunications, and financial industries. She holds a Fellow in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, an MBA in Marketing from Carlson, and a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from St. Catherine University.

As the former SVP of UnitedHealthcare, Network Transformation and Operations, and Chief Operating Officer for Optum Behavioral Health at UnitedHealth Group, Axberg has a proven track record in developing strategic partnerships and driving business growth. She is also an entrepreneur, co-founding Minnesota ATV Tours, and Axberg Holdings, a residential rental property LLC, and is active in entrepreneurial advisory organizations. Her leadership experience, commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and transparent approach to achieving high performance from team members, have garnered her a reputation as a trusted leader in her advisory and professional roles.

Axberg serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities, and previously held senior leadership positions at Qwest Communications, formerly U S WEST and Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, and at CenturyLink, formerly Qwest and U S WEST. In 2019, she received the Mentor of the Year Award from the Women's Health Leadership Trust (WHLT).
