Stephanie Ohshita is a dedicated professional contributing to sustainable energy and environmental strategies through interdisciplinary research, education, and policy initiatives. With a background in engineering and policy analysis, she specializes in energy-based solutions for various environmental challenges, from local air pollution to global climate change. Stephanie's work involves collaborating across countries like China, Japan, and the US, focusing on energy and carbon analysis, climate and environmental policy development, low-carbon resilient city strategies, emissions inventories, climate action plans, and sustainability and risk management.

Stephanie Ohshita pursued her academic interests at top institutions, obtaining an SB in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, followed by an MS and PhD in Environmental Engineering & Policy from Stanford University. She also earned a Graduate Research Certificate in Environmental Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
