Nick Sutingco, MD, is an experienced emergency medicine physician and academic leader. Sutingco earned his Sc.B. in neuroscience from Brown University, following which he received his MD from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at the prestigious Harvard Medical School.
Currently, Sutingco serves as the Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Inova Health System. He was also the Chair of the Emergency Medicine Covid19 Response Committee during the pandemic. He previously held several leadership positions at Inova Health System, including serving as the Medical Director of the Stroke Clinical Effectiveness Team, and as a member of the Executive Committee, among others.
Sutingco is an experienced educator, having taught as an Assistant Clinical Professor at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and serving as the Medical Director/Director of Operations for the IFOH ED Simulation Lab at Inova Health System. Additionally, he has served as the Operational Medical Director for the City of Fairfax Fire Department & Emergency Medical Services.
