Project Nippon Co., Ltd. is a company that provides a platform for startup companies to grow. We are conducting ILS, Asia's largest open innovation conference.
ILS was established in 2014 with major support from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI).
ILS 2021 was held as two separate sessions this year (face-to-face and online). 14,399 people participated in the eight-day long online session. More than 700 startups and 100 major corporations participated in POWER MATCHING, the main matching program for creating new and innovative business, was also held separately in face-to-face and online, and achieved a record high of 2,720 business negotiations. In addition, a record 253 overseas startups from 31 countries participated in POWER MATCHING, and many matches were made with major Japanese corporations and VCs.
