Jabez Tan is a Data Centre Analyst at Structure Research, where he offers thought leadership on the colocation market globally. He has been recognized as part of the Data Economy 30 under 30. Over the years, Jabez has been an invited keynote speaker at HostingCon 2015 in San Diego, where he spoke on Cloud Industry Growth. In addition, he was part of a panel at The Fourth Annual Northern California Data Center Summit - CAPRATE, where he discussed "Analysis of Cross-Region International/US Demand and Partnerships: How will They Impact Demand for West Coast Space?". Besides, Jabez has been a webinar speaker on CenturyLink Hybrid IT Files, where he spoke on Data Centre Trends for 2020 and Beyond as well as The Modern Data Centre. He has been cited in various publications, including Singapore Business Times, IO Data Centers, Data Center Knowledge, Processor Magazine, The Deal, Web Hosting Industry Review, The Stack, and TechTarget - SearchDataCenter.

Jabez Tan studied B.S. Aerospace Engineering at the University of Maryland and previously attended Anglo-Chinese School (Independent). In his professional life, he has served in different capacities with a focus on analyzing data center colocation trends across various regions. He was the Senior Analyst, Data Center Colocation, and later the Research Director, Data Centre & Cloud Market Intelligence at Structure Research, where he offered in-depth research on global cloud and data center markets. Before joining Structure Research, Jabez was an Analyst, Quantitative Services at The 451 Group, an Associate Analyst at Tier1 Research, and an Analyst-in-Training at Investment Banking Institute.

Currently, Jabez Tan is the Head of Research at Structure Research, and he is a former member of DataCentre SG (Association of Singapore Data Centre Practitioners). He also served as a Platoon Sergeant/Company Leader at the Singapore Armed Forces.
