Kai Huotari
Kai Huotari is a versatile professional with a rich background in both the cultural and technology sectors. With a master's degree in Audiovisual Arts from Ecole Supérieur d'Audiovisuel and a doctorate in Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Hanken Svenska handelshögskolan, he brings a unique perspective to his work. He is currently the Managing Director at Kiinteistö Oy Kaapelitalo, as well as a board member of the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE. Additionally, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Kunsthalle Helsinki and Kaapelin Mediakeskus Oy. He is especially passionate about art, media, technology, and business. With experience as a Project Manager at Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT, a researcher at Starcut, and Executive Director at DocPoint - Helsinki Documentary Film Festival, he has demonstrated his expertise in managing projects and pushing new ideas forward. He has also conducted research on topics such as acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies in virtual and social spaces (ARMS) and advanced virtual economy applications (AVEA).
