Eliza Spang is a highly experienced senior professional in educational product design and development, as well as adult professional learning with an eye to transformative teaching and learning. She has a broad background with expertise in innovative product delivery, student engagement and support, and product testing. With a PhD in Curriculum and Teacher Education from Stanford University, an M.A.T. in Secondary Teaching of Biology from Duke University, and an M.A. in Biology from Middlebury College, Spang brings an academic foundation to her work.

Spang is the founder and managing director of Three Prisms LLC, a product design and development firm. Previously, she has held positions such as assistant vice chancellor of enterprise learning innovation at Northeastern University, general manager at Level Education at Northeastern University, and director of learning design at The Institute for Citizens and Scholars. She has also led learning design at Institute of Play and served as a senior manager at Relay Graduate School of Education. Spang began her career as a high school science teacher at Novato Unified School District and Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District before transitioning into higher education and product design. She has also worked as a research associate at WestEd and Stanford University, as well as a coordinator for major donor communications at Ocean Conservancy.
