Peter Cihon
Peter Cihon, a well-educated and accomplished individual, is a member of the faculty at Williams College. He holds an important role in the institution as the Director of Immersive Technologies and Digital Humanities. Cihon completed his studies in History, Art History, and French from the University of Chicago and continued his studies at Ohio State University, where he attained a Ph.D. in Comparative Studies, with a dissertation on "The Dynamics of the Image in Twentieth-Century Literature and Art." Prior to his work at Williams College, he held teaching positions and provided important research work in universities in America and Europe. He published various academic papers on subjects such as digital humanities, art, and history. Cihon has played an essential role in the implementation of new technologies, such as virtual and augmented reality, into the curriculum at Williams College. He is committed to promoting the role of digital humanities in expanding academic research.
