Eugenia Gusev is a highly experienced project manager with a diverse international background spanning 10 years, covering countries like France, Russia, and the United States, as well as field experience in Kyrgyzstan, Mali, Niger, DRC, and Cote d'Ivoire.

For the past four years, Eugenia has been deeply involved in food systems work and refugee resettlement in the United States. She has successfully led numerous projects, both federally and privately funded, aimed at enhancing food security, nutrition, and community cohesion for refugees and their local communities.

Additionally, Eugenia serves as a project director for two evaluations and has played a crucial role in designing several others that are currently awaiting funding.

Eugenia is a regular attendee at various conferences, including the New Entry Sustainable Farming Project in 2015 and 2018, USDA NIFA (National Institute of Food & Agriculture) in 2017, NARHC (North American Refugee Health Conference) in 2018, and a podcast in 2018 focusing on food security and nutrition for refugees and immigrants in the U.S.

With a strong emphasis on languages, Eugenia is multilingual, fluent in Russian, French, and English, and has a conversational level of Spanish.

Her educational background is extensive, having pursued advanced coursework and training at various prestigious institutions, including Common Purpose, AMEX Leadership Summit in London, INTRAC, Institut d'Etudes politiques de Paris, Moscow State Institute of International Relations, The George Washington University, The Park School of Baltimore, and The IRC, where she obtained certifications in Emergency Market Mapping and Analysis (EMMA) and BOND.

Currently, Eugenia holds a key position as a Technical Advisor for Food Security and Agriculture within the US Programs at the International Rescue Committee. She also has experience as a reviewer for the Journal of Agriculture Food Systems and Community Development (JAFSCD).
