Brett spent the first ten years of his career mainly in controller roles, starting as a CPA at Deloitte and served as SEC reporting manager at Amazon. However, he transitioned to CFOing and has since raised over $100M in equity and venture debt financing serving a key supporting role in the M&A process of $300M Goldman Sachs-led startup exit.

Brett has vast experience working in various enterprises such as World Wide Packets, Demand Energy, 2nd Watch, and Trovata. Brett is the founder and CEO of Trovata.io, an Enterprise SaaS platform that automates cash management. He developed a complex set of financial operating tools that helped the senior team manage business effectively and aided in proper predictive performance metrics. Brett is skilled and proficient in finance, fundraising, accounting, and treasury operations. He has a degree from Seattle Pacific University and is an accomplished auditor and CPA.
