Max Shiau is a junior at UC Berkeley majoring in Economics and minoring in Data Science, with a true passion for the intersection of finance and startup culture. He is an entrepreneurial spirit at heart, with a proven ability to take an idea and bring it to life by creating an environment that fosters creativity. Max has worked in various industries, including venture capital, private equity, and financial analysis. He has held several roles such as a Strategy Consultant at PayPal, a Spring Associate at Outfront Solutions, and a Business Strategy Consultant at Valley Consulting Group.

Max is currently the Vice President of Projects at Valley Consulting Group, where he previously served as the Recruitment Manager and Vice President of Development/Career Growth. Additionally, he has experience as a Spring Analyst at Andra Capital - Silicon Valley Coin, a Strategy Consultant at Tempo, and an Account Executive at The Daily Californian. Max was also a co-founder of The Hype Advisor.
