Karl Hirsch is a highly accomplished CEO with over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. He has successfully led several early-stage companies and raised over $70M in venture capital. Karl is best known for pioneering the first patent-pending digital rights management system for PC applications in 1994, leading to an IPO in 1999. He has also served as a member of the Editorial Board for Engineering Applications in Artificial Intelligence and was honored with the Innovator of the Year Award in 2016 by the Chamber of Commerce of Issaquah, WA. Additionally, he has served as Chairman of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) Internet & Electronic Licensing/Digital Distribution Division.

Karl has extensive experience in evaluating and monetizing software/technology patents and structuring and negotiating complex large-dollar business relationships. His expertise includes artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, intelligent automation, machine learning, pattern recognition, artificial neural networks, advanced biometric identification, automated real-time threat assessment, behavioral and event prediction intelligence system design, and software development. His background includes PC and cloud-based software systems development, digital signal processing, electronic commerce, analytics, digital rights management, SaaS, digital distribution, venture capital, electronic licensing, patent monetization, defense, and national security systems software development.

Recently, Karl launched a new PC-based Remote Sensor Data Visualization and System Control Platform called TinMan RealTime. He studied a Bachelor of Science degree at UCLA and attended advanced coursework in negotiations at Stanford University.
