Austin's career in film and video began when he studied Film/Cinema/Video Studies at the University of Southern California. From there, he worked as a producer, writer, director and actor in independent film, honing his skills and gaining valuable experience in all aspects of the film-making process.

Austin's career also took him to Nike, where he served as Global Digital Specialist for snowboarding. There, he created content that captured the essence and excitement of the snowboarding lifestyle. He later joined Nemo Design, where he worked as part of the in-house video production team.

In his current role as Executive Creative Director at Mount Defiance, Austin is responsible for directing global campaigns, producing narrative shorts, shooting social content and editing a wide range of projects that fall in-between. He brings a unique perspective to everything he works on, infusing each project with creativity, passion, and a commitment to excellence.
