Julia Byrd is an accomplished sustainability management professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Executive Director of Entrepreneurship at the Institute For Life Science Entrepreneurship (ILSE). She holds a Master's degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University - School of Continuing Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Russian Language and Literature from The George Washington University.

With a wealth of experience in program management, lean startup, and program development, she has previously worked at Columbia University in the City of New York, PowerBridgeNY Proof-of-Concept Center, and as a self-employed consultant. Additionally, she has served as a research assistant and co-author at The George Washington University, and as a store manager at Dean of Chess Academy.

Julia brings a unique blend of skills and experience to her work, combining her expertise in sustainability and entrepreneurship with a demonstrated ability to develop programs and organizations. As Executive Director of Entrepreneurship at ILSE, she is responsible for fostering the growth of start-ups in the life sciences sector.
