With a strong educational background, Echanique is a graduate of the George Washington University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration, concentrating in International Business and Economics/Public Policy. He also studied Financial/Budget Operations at Defense Acquisition University and pursued a Master of Business Administration in Finance at Syracuse University.

Echanique's professional journey began as a sales associate at Abercrombie & Fitch, followed by roles as a reading and math buddy at SAIL Program, human resource manager at Graphic Image Inc, and Congressional aide at the Office of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. At his current workplace, Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, Echanique is responsible for providing financial support to business units within the company, project tracking, financial analysis, and report preparation.
