Huong Nguyen is a prominent figure in the Vietnamese startup ecosystem with extensive experience in incubating startups and connecting them with VCs and angel investors for fundraising. She has been an instrumental force in building the startup community in Ho Chi Minh City over the last two years. With a background in software development and testing, Huong co-founded an eLearning startup that played a vital role in modernizing education in the country.

Huong Nguyen has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the Hanoi University of Science, and she gained additional expertise from several training programs, including Lean Startup and CEO Master. Over the years, she has worked for different organizations in various capacities, from quality control and quality management to freelance work and public relations.

As a community builder, Huong's efforts go beyond entrepreneurship. She has also been an organizer for Vietnam Investment Day, an initiative that aims to foster investment opportunities between Vietnamese startups and foreign investors. She has also served as a mentor for Quest Ventures and AWS Activate Scout at AWS Startup Ecosystem.
