Brittany Heyd is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in law, entrepreneurship, and community initiatives. She is best known for co-founding Mana Up, an accelerator program designed to help Hawaiʻi-based entrepreneurs scale their businesses globally. Brittany is also a former General Counsel at Union and 1776, two software platforms that help connect the world's startup and innovation community. During her tenure, she was responsible for managing these organizations' corporate governance, M&A, contractual, IP, and business risk issues.

Before joining the startup world, Brittany held several positions that helped her gain unparalleled experience in business, economics, law, and public policy. She worked at the White House's Council of Economic Advisers and Mark IV Capital, where she honed her skills in economics and wealth management. She also worked as a Summer Associate at Latham & Watkins and a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Amy Berman Jackson at U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Brittany is a licensed attorney in the States of Maryland and Hawaii and holds a Juris Doctor/Masters of Public Policy from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting/Finance and Political Science from the University of San Diego.
