Steven Pristin is a skilled editor, assistant editor, and post-production supervisor with extensive experience working in television, film, and new media. He has a deep understanding of offline/online workflow, transcoding and ingesting media, turnover, QC, and delivery, making him a valuable asset to any post-production team. Steven has a strong proficiency in multi-camera/variable frame-rate workflows, green screen comps, and script sync, making him a versatile editor with a wide range of skills. He is a member of the Motion Pictures Editors Guild - IATSE: Local 700. As a team player, Steven has also worked on leading post-production teams.

Steven's familiarity with tools such as Avid Symphony/Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, Pro Tools, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and FileMaker Pro, makes him an expert in his field. He studied MFA, Editing / Post Production at The American Film Institute and earned a BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University.

Steven has worked on many successful projects, including "Peter Rabbit 2" at Olive Bridge Entertainment – Sony Pictures, "Pet Semetary" at Paramount Pictures, "Really Love" at MACRO, "ALPHA" at Studio 8, "Giants" at Issa Rae Productions, "Teen Wolf" at MTV, and "Black Panther" at Marvel Studios. Additionally, he has worked on documentaries such as "Breaking Brooklyn" at Lionsgate, "Marcel the Shell With Shoes On" at Cinereach, "AC Green: Iron Virgin" at ESPN, and "Quest" at Quest The Movie. Steven has also worked in various roles such as Editor & Post Production Supervisor at Citizen Jones, Associate Producer at HBO, and Photographer's Assistant and Studio Manager at Marc Asnin.
