Micah Intermill is a seasoned public policy professional, with over 15 years of experience in federal, state, and local-level politics and policymaking. He specializes in strategic communication, strategic planning, legislative advocacy, budgeting, public finance, coalition and partnership building, crisis management, change management, organizational development, public sector compensation, problem-solving, public management, and civic engagement design and management. Micah holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Advertising from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has studied business, management, marketing, and related support services at Kansas State University. He also earned a Master's degree in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs with a focus on public and nonprofit leadership and management. He has worked as a Budget Director for the City of Minneapolis, as Chief Financial Officer of the Minnesota Department of Administration, and as an Executive Budget Officer for the State of Minnesota. Micah currently serves as a Solutions Engineering Manager at OpenGov, where he deploys his skills in management, analysis, advocacy, strategic partnerships, and strategic planning to make positive public change. Micah has also served as the Director of Advocacy for the Assisted Living Federation of America and as a scheduler for U.S. Senator Ben Nelson.
