Steven Williams

Steven Williams is a Partner at Emond Harnden, LLP, where he has been practicing since 1994, specializing in representing employers with both union and non-union employees.

With a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Queen's University, Steven brings a strong educational background to his legal practice.

Steven's expertise lies in serving the human resource law needs of employers in the aviation sector, working with a diverse national clientele including fixed and rotary wing operators, airports, government agencies, flying schools, clubs, and aviation industry associations and suppliers.

He has gained valuable insight into the unique challenges faced by aviation sector employers through secondments to NAV Canada and a national airline, as well as representing and advising global firms with operations in Canada.

In addition to his legal practice, Steven is actively involved in various organizations, serving on the board of directors of the Air Transport Association of Canada and the Northern Air Transport Association. He is also a former board member of the Helicopter Association of Canada.

Steven has also contributed his expertise to the field of Human Resources, having served as the past Chair of the Human Resources Committee of the Board of Governors of Ashbury College and as the past President of the Ottawa Chapter of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario.
