Thanks to the solid relationships with Chinese governmental media departments, top influencers and distributors in various fields, Golden Stardust B.V. has successfully introduced several Dutch brands to the Chinese, such as Jacob Hooy, Lekker boat, KG System, van der Hoeven greenhouse, etc. We also provide our Chinese clients with guidance on exploring the European markets or finding partners. For example, we helped Alibaba China build its new online auction channel by providing the research data and finding European partners. We also set up a Dutch office for ‘Kaiyuan Modern Agriculture Garden’ from Yunnan province as their European headquarter. In the educational field, we have organized trips for Ministry of Education of Jiangsu province to visit ROC Mondriaan for the potential exchange programmes.

In 2018, Alibaba, the biggest online and mobile commerce company in China, started its online auction channel via TaoBao platform. As an oversea curator, I was responsible for introducing European artworks, antiques, and various auction items to the Chinese audience. The innovative online auction channel combining online streaming technology allows curators to tell stories in the most efficient way and communicate directly with the audience.

10 Corso Como, widely regarded as the first concept store in the world, was founded in 1991 by Italian gallerist and publisher Carla Sozzani. It started a completely new concept of slow shopping, combining art, fashion, design, cuisine, and culture.  10 Corso Como entered China in 2013. As the gallery director, I was responsible for opening and running the art galleries and bookstores in Shanghai and Beijing. The galleries and bookstores were described by Carla Sozzani as the core of 10 Corso Como.My main duties included: exhibition and event planning, sales, maintaining relationships with artists and clients, marketing strategy, logistic, etc.

Baiyaxuan Art Gallery owns seven galleries in China and it works with more than thirty famous Chinese artists. It is the only gallery that owns the copyright of Wu Guanzhong’s artworks and art derivatives.
