Assaf Barnea is a seasoned executive and venture capital professional with significant legal and international experience in the technology and impact investing space. Barnea has spent the past 8 years focusing on pre-seed to Round A investments in Healthtech and Cleantech companies, including energy, water, air pollution, waste management, and advanced materials. He has also led the formation of new ventures in these spaces and helped establish a unique collaboration program between Roche and aMoon in AI Diagnostics. Barnea has a strong academic background, having studied at prestigious institutions such as Columbia University, London School of Economics and Political Science, and Harvard Business School. Prior to his venture capital career, Barnea worked as an M&A and Private Equity lawyer in NYC, Hong Kong, and Tel Aviv for nearly a decade. He is a member of the Maoz Network of change-makers, aiming to enhance Israel's socio-economic resilience.
