Matthew Le Cordeur is a highly experienced journalist turned sustainability consultant and head of client publications at Trialogue. Graduating with honors in Media and Communication at University of KwaZulu-Natal leads him to work in various roles in media such as journalist, editor, content producer, and publisher at 24.com, Media24 and The Witness. His experience in media developed his focus on sustainability issues and social innovation. To enhance his knowledge towards sustainability, Le Cordeur continues his education with an MBA geared towards social innovation and sustainability at Graduate School of Business in University of Cape Town, This was further enhanced with an MBA exchange programme at Università Bocconi in Italy. As a published author, he co-authored a book detailing the history and work of a non-governmental organization, tracking how it developed its framework and approach towards assisting vulnerable and orphaned children. At Trialogue, he leads client publications division, where he provides assistance to companies with their integrated reporting suite, as well as providing advisory services that aim to strengthen internal processes linked to integrated thinking and sustainability strategies.
