Doga Makiura

Doga Makiura is a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for startups. Originally from Japan and educated in the UK at Cheltenham College, Strathallan School, and the University of Bristol, he has worked and lived in many countries around the world, including Rwanda, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, and Ghana. Makiura recently moved to Ghana in late 2018 to launch a new project aimed at innovating agriculture with a vision of "changing people's lives dramatically." He has a track record of successful projects, including Needs-One Ltd, an online education service with over 3 million users, and Quipper, where he served as Executive Producer for Emerging Market Development. Makiura is also a former Ambassador at Asha Society and Collaboration Researcher at The University of Tokyo.
