Francesca Capone Jones is a talented designer, published author, and adjunct professor based in the United States. Jones has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Textiles from the renowned Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and a Masters of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary, Literary Arts from Brown University. With a speciality in materials and textile design, Jones has worked for some of the biggest names in the fashion and design industry, including, but not limited to, Marc Jacobs, Coach, Carolina Herrera, Nike, and threeASFOUR.

At Nike, Jones currently serves as the Materials Design Manager for NSW Women's Footwear, having previously served as Materials Designer II for both the Men's and Women's Sportswear ranges. Prior to working with Nike, Jones honed her creative skills as a designer, silk scarf and cold weather accessories, at Marc Jacobs. She also served as an Associate Designer of Print and Pattern at Coach.

Jones is a skilled textile designer and teacher, with a significant amount of experience in these fields. She was a freelance textile designer for M. PATMOS and threeASFOUR and previously served as a Textile Design Instructor at Textile Arts Center and 3rd Ward. Jones has also worked as a Teaching Fellow at Brown University, to pass on her knowledge of textile design to future generations.
