Amer Abufadel, a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, has established himself as a serial entrepreneur, research assistant, and lead systems engineer. Amer has proven himself as an innovative leader in his role as founder & CTO of Derq Inc., where he is developing the next generation of technology to enhance safety on the road. Prior to this role, he also founded Argus Homecare Monitor, where he developed a new way to keep an eye on elderly patients' safety. Amer has an impressive work history, having previously worked as a Lead Systems Engineer at Advanced Mission Systems, a Senior Design Engineer at Khoury Group, and a Research Intern at Siemens Corporate Research. His devotion to the research has earned him a Graduate Research Assistant role at Georgia Tech.
