Adam Soliman is a well-rounded legal counsel with years of experience in civil litigation, corporate restructuring, regulatory affairs, and commercial transactions. With a background in agribusiness and holding two graduate degrees in Agricultural Economics and Agriculture and Food Law, Soliman has a keen interest in fisheries laws and regulations, as well as fisheries economics. He is the director of The Fisheries Law Centre, a not-for-profit research center that focuses on research, education, and advocacy relating to fisheries law and regulations. Soliman is a former adjunct professor at Dalian Maritime University and The University of British Columbia's Faculty of Law, where he has taught on fisheries issues.

Soliman gained invaluable knowledge as a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School in the academic year 2015/2016, where he facilitated a series of fisheries law seminars, carried out research on fisheries governance, and designed relevant curricula on fisheries law. His focus is mainly on conducting legal and economic analyses of issues in fisheries management, with a particular emphasis on small-scale fisheries.

Education-wise, Soliman holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Hong Kong and an LLM in Agricultural and Food Law from The University of Arkansas. Additionally, he has a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from The University of British Columbia and Alexandria University, respectively.
