Joel Bashevkin is a well-respected social impact entrepreneur with over thirty years of experience in building strong collaborations between non-profits, corporations, and government. He is a practitioner, consultant, mentor, and speaker with expertise in pro bono, volunteerism, board development, nonprofit leadership, capacity building, and corporate social responsibility strategy. Joel is passionate about creating social impact and has worked in diverse sectors such as arts, public health, disability, domestic poverty, and hunger. He has served on nonprofit boards and consulted with clients in countries such as Brazil, China, Germany, Japan, Portugal, South Korea, Turkey, and the U.S. Joel holds an M.A in Public Policy & Non-Profit Management and a B.A in Nutritional Anthropology, both from Tufts University. Today, as the Principal at JB Consulting, he continues to create social impact through cross-sector collaborations.
