Dr. Cheerag Upadhyaya is a highly accomplished neurosurgeon with an exceptional educational background in neurosurgery, clinical research, and general surgery.
He completed his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at the University of Florida College of Medicine and pursued various specialized studies including a Neurosurgery Residency at the University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Upadhyaya further honed his expertise through a Minimally Invasive & Complex Spine Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
With a Master's Degree in Clinical Research from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School, he has a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine and research methodologies.
Dr. Upadhyaya has held key positions such as Chief of Neurosurgery and Co-Director of the Saint Luke's Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute at Saint Luke's Health System. He also served as a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery & Orthopedics at the same institution.
