Blake Oetting is a highly educated and accomplished individual in the field of art history. Currently a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, Oetting's focus lies in interwar and contemporary American art, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of Minimalism and spatial politics. Blake has worked with esteemed institutions such as Peggy Guggenheim Collection, The Museum of Modern Art, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, to name a few. Furthermore, Oetting has been affiliated with Res: Anthropology & Aesthetics as an Editorial Assistant and has written for widely-read art publications such as Artforum. Blake's background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and History, obtained from Swarthmore College, where they also worked as a Gallery Intern at List Gallery. Prior to this, Blake underwent an intensive internship at the Barnes Foundation. Additionally, Oetting has served as Artist Liaison and Director's Assistant at Greene Naftali, where they gained hands-on experience in the practical aspects of art exhibitions.
