Miriam Hall is a highly experienced and talented creative writing instructor with passion for mindfulness and meditation. She has been facilitating classes focused on using writing and photography as mindfulness practices for over five years. In addition to her work at Herspiral Contemplative Arts, Miriam has taught at University and Junior High school level for several years. Her specialties include creative writing, mindfulness, meditation, photography, memoir, compassionate listening skills, equanimity with the creative process, and creativity practices. Miriam is a senior student of two renowned instructors, Natalie Goldberg and John McQuade. She studied anthropology and French at University of Wisconsin-Madison and also pursued further education at Université de Provence (Aix-Marseille I).
