Venkat Raman is an accomplished Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) with over five years of experience in emerging markets, corporate finance, and M&A advisory. Raman holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and he is a CFA Charterholder. He specializes in driving strategy in seemingly ambiguous situations, especially those involving consumer insights, big data, pricing, and corporate finance. Raman has worked across industries, but he has a particular passion for Food, Consumer Products, and Retail.

Prior to joining BCG, Raman worked at EY's Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice. Here he advised clients in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and India across a range of industries. Raman's passion for finance and business started early on in life, where he graduated as rank 1 in commerce from the AISSE Grade 12 board exam at Indian High School, Dubai.

Outside of work, Raman enjoys experimenting with vegetarian recipes in his kitchen, spending time with his family, following the NBA, playing squash, and unapologetically laughing at his terrible sense of humor.
