Dan Lear

Dan Lear is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background and a strong educational foundation. He holds a JD, MBA, and a BA from Seattle University and Brigham Young University, respectively. Dan has a wealth of experience in the legal industry and has been associated with various organizations in different capacities.

Throughout his career, Dan has been involved in numerous roles such as hosting the Financially Legal Podcast at Gravity Legal, serving as a General Counsel and VP of Lawyer Success/Special Projects at Off The Record, Inc, and co-founding the Seattle Legal Innovation and Technology MeetUp. He has also contributed significantly in the legal innovation space as a Legal Innovator, Facilitator, and Blogger at Right Brain Law, and as the Director of Industry Relations at Avvo.

Dan has also been active in mentoring and is known for his entrepreneurial spirit, having served as an Entrepreneurship Mentor at LawWithoutWalls (LWOWX). He is a former member of the Future of the Legal Profession Workgroup at the Washington State Bar Association and has practiced law at reputable firms such as Ragen Swan PLLC and Snodgrass & Kearns, PLLC.

His diverse experience encompasses project development/management at Ruby Mountain, Inc and a role as a paralegal at Microsoft. Dan's multifaceted background reflects his strong commitment to the legal profession and his continuous efforts in driving innovation and change within the industry.
