James Heuser, a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in digital media management, has been working with the Washington Capitals for several years. Having been born and raised in the United States, James received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Film and Television and Television, respectively, from Boston University. His breadth of studies also encompasses pre-medical studies, as well as varied studies at Clayton High School. Prior to his stint with the Washington Capitals, he worked as an intern at WGBH, teaching assistant at Boston University, general manager at butv10, and big brother at Big Brothers Big Sisters.

As the senior director of digital media for the Washington Capitals, James is responsible for overseeing the team's digital content production, social media, and online engagement strategies. He has previously held positions such as director of digital media, senior manager of digital media, and digital content producer for the team. Additionally, he has worked as a camera operator and PA at Kitay Productions Inc. and as a patient access and central transport ambassador at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He has also served as a summer counselor at Chilmark Community Center.
