Jim Mills is a finance professional and tech investor with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He has a broad range of skills and expertise, including venture financing, seed investing, board membership, transaction experience, and operational management. Jim has worked with both startup and industry-leading technology companies throughout his career, and he holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College.

Throughout his career, Jim has been involved with numerous organizations and companies, including YouWeb Incubator, Digital Asset, Discord, Datran Media (now PulsePoint), Gain Capital, Savvion, Tidal Software, and VantagePoint Capital Partners. He has also held positions at Oracle and Webvan Group and worked with Crescendo Communications and Battery Ventures. Jim's investment and transaction experience includes seed and traditional venture capital, expansion/growth equity, leveraged recapitalizations, buyouts, public company divisional carve-outs, strategic public company minority positions, strategic sales, initial public offerings, and numerous portfolio company tuck-in acquisitions.
