Satoshi Shimizu is a well-experienced professional in the tech industry with a diverse background in development, engineering, web production, project and product management, cyber security, risk management, and quality management. He studied economics at WASEDA University before embarking on his career. Satoshi has worked at various positions at Trend Micro, a leading cybersecurity company, including as Senior Director of Quality Management, Site Operation Director, Director of Product Management, Risk Management Advisor, and Corporate Officer of several offices, among other roles. He has led and managed R&D teams, supported customers in establishing their web presence, developed security software, and advised public sectors on cybersecurity and cybercrime investigation. Satoshi has also been involved in various organizations, such as the Cybercrime Investigation Knowledge Forum, Japan Cybercrime Control Center, and NI Intelligent Initiative Inc. He is currently the Regional CISO of Trend Micro in Japan and focuses on advisory work and the development of the body of knowledge of cybersecurity.
