Gisela Bushey is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience building relationships between corporations, government agencies, and community organizations. With a unique understanding of both the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, Bushey has a passion for developing and leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and programs that deliver measurable social and environmental impact for communities, foundations and corporations. She has a track record of improving housing equity, education reform, hunger relief, economic justice, community development, children's health and welfare, and environmental sustainability. Bushey has founded and led the startup of nonprofits, foundations, and corporate philanthropy programs, and has been a keynote speaker on topics related to community outreach, advocacy, and philanthropy. Her goal is to generate enthusiasm and commitment to positive change in the teams she leads and supports. Bushey studied Communications at Marquette University and has held various executive roles, including Chief Executive Officer at Loaves & Fishes Family Kitchen and Foundation Manager at Palm.
