Austin Walters is an experienced entrepreneur and investor whose work is focused on democratizing medicine. He studied Entrepreneurship, Healthcare, Emerging Markets, and Venture Capital at Harvard Business School, where he earned his MBA. He also studied International Relations and Russian at Brigham Young University, where he received his BA. Before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey, he graduated from Buffalo High School.
Austin is the founder and managing partner at SpringTide Ventures, where he invests in entrepreneurs who share his vision of making healthcare more accessible and affordable to everyone. He has also worked as an investor at Intellihealth, Tula Health, Tava Health, and other healthcare startups. He has a wealth of knowledge in family office wealth management, marketing, and sales consultancy.
During his distinguished career, Austin has also worked as the co-founder and CRO at Edilytics, a commercial director at EchoNous, a researcher at Harvard Law School, and an analyst at Innosight. He has written for Globalhealth.care and served as an East representative at Friendemic. He's also the former CEO and janitor at Whim, where he developed an app for managing healthcare appointments.
