David Altherr is an accomplished Engineer with a specialization in aircraft systems, particularly in research and development of advanced aircraft propulsion systems. He holds a Master of Science degree in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. David has significant experience in program management, supplier management, system architecture design, requirements definition, validation and verification, lab testing, flight testing, simulation, data analysis, analysis automation, report generation, computer-aided design, and certification. He has previously held positions as the Director of Propulsion at Aerion Supersonic, a Project Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, a Senior Systems Engineer at LMI Aerospace and a Technical Specialist at Gulfstream Aerospace. Prior to his roles in the industry, he also served as an engineering co-op student at German Aerospace Center (DLR), Air Force Research Laboratory, and Structural Dynamics Research Corporation.
