Matthew Eshed is a climate innovator with over 10 years of experience in designing and engineering systems for various sectors, including manufacturing and agriculture. He strives towards creating systems that support zero waste, circular, regenerative, rebalanced, ecological outcomes. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in the interface of human society and the environment, focusing on water issues, at Western Colorado University. Matthew has co-founded a climatetech innovation consultancy called Impossible Labs and worked at MakerBot for two formative years of his career as a corporate and product innovation specialist. Additionally, he has published several writings on Medium and digital newspapers and has experience in hosting and designing events. With his spirit of open collaboration and localist aesthetic, Matthew values honesty, quality, and empathy in his work. His interests include regenerative agriculture, zero-emissions transportation infrastructure, zero-waste symbiotic systems design, communications and media, education, climate trauma and its associated healing modalities, and public-sector issues like conservation, wildlife corridors, and nutrient overloading.
