Birgitte Santaella

Birgitte Santaella is a seasoned executive with expertise in government and community relations, as well as advocacy and lobbying. She has worked with both public and private sector executive leadership and has created and executed strategic plans for federal and state government relations. With a wealth of experience in aerospace and defense, healthcare, education, and immigration, Santaella has cultivated relationships that have helped accomplish policy objectives.

Santaella studied Theology and Religion with a Minor in Spanish at Calvin College and continued her education at Arizona State University. There she studied Post Baccalaureate-to-MA in Education and worked in Special Projects for the University President at Arizona State University. She also worked as the Assistant Director Federal Relations and Director of Economic Development for the same institution.

Santaella has held several leadership roles, including President at AZADA: Arizona Aerospace and Defense Association, Vice President at Catalyze Ltd and Business Development Vice President; Program Manager for Unmanned Aircraft Systems at Arizona Commerce Authority. She has also worked at the Arizona Congressional District Office for the U.S. House of Representatives and interned at NBC Miami.
