Farhad Soltanieh is a seasoned project development director at Skanska with over 15 years of experience in infrastructure development and project financing. He has led the structuring, development, and negotiations of investments and financings for complex projects valued at over $10 billion throughout his career. Farhad's expertise lies in a wide range of transaction structures and risk profiles across various sectors such as social infrastructure, aviation, transportation, and real estate.
Farhad has earned an Executive MBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and an MDes from Harvard University. He also holds an MA/BA from S.B. University (Former National University). Upon enrolling with Skanska, Farhad took responsibility for developing a portfolio of strategic projects in social infrastructure across the US, contemplating alternative delivery and financing methods, and collaborating with Skanska's clients.
Farhad's passion for creating value stems from his fascination with developing innovative solutions for complex projects that impact society while delivering long-term value at optimal costs and risks. This requires an array of managerial skills such as strategic thinking/analysis, relationship management, and iterative technical, commercial, and financial negotiations.
